BUT, I'm with the comment by westcpw...I too have Mandelbulb3D, but cannot even approach a work like this. It it just produceable by 'those-in-the-know', OR, is there a tutorial by someone willing to share their knowledge. I've been advised to look through the Mandelbulb3D forum for threads on how to do such works, but that really is no good either, as noobs, like myself, need a hand-in-hand description of what to do. BUT, that said, there seems to be a 'don't tell anyone how you do these works by some Mandelbulbers out there, as they only occassionally tell you only a part of the whole. SIGH!
Hello ! First of all I want to say thank you . I'm glad you like it. Honestly with regard to the training I have not used any classes(tutorials). I am very lazy to read them I started with a 0 . All my art are the results of large experiments and inspiring talented fractal authors. I am not always good at . I know that the lessons is on fractal forum. But by and large it gives you nothing. If you really want to then do something good. I know many authors who then were good things. Take some time and definitely try to create a lesson. I must do it . Good luck to you
I've been trying to aquire something like this as well, but I can't get that glow for instance and I cannot get it to render 'till the end. It just stops at some point and then it's still crappy in parts. So I gave up my tries with that program.
The software is quite excellent alright, and have got quite some nice works from it, but nothing here like KPEKEP and others produce. I don't think it is the 'ware that is the problem, however, but more the sharing of knowledge in how to use it.
Yes, those in the know, will say look this up, look that up, read this here, this there etc. That's not a problem for me (and I guess others, too), but I think it's the community of excellent renderer people out there producing such works like KPEKEP's here that don't want to share there knowledge, as it gives them that little bit of heads-over their competitors.
If that is the case, then it really is a pity. No one, as such, has proved me incorrect, as no one has offered to help.
That's sad! I work mostly in DAZ and in that community, on that forum, people are always very willing to help, both when it comes to techical stuff to more soft things like 'how do I aquire a..." I've learned so much on these forums, and I try to give back a little bit here a little bit there in return.
